So last week we had the Larson FHE at our house. Lots of family, lots of fun and lots of noise. Later in the week, Becky had another doctor's appointment. Everything is looking great and Becky is feeling well. Sean survived his second week of summer school and is wishing he was already finished. The garden is still producing and our chickens are as healthy as ever.

We did have one major hiccup with our roofing company. They mailed us a check and a letter letting us know that they have cancelled our service. So, Sean made some nasty phone calls and starting sorting things out. Apparently there have been several misunderstandings and miscommunications going on in their office. Hopefully everything will be set back into place early next week and we can have our roof redone sometime this year. We'll keep you posted.

Also, Becky's been super buys doing all kinds of stuff around the house. She's been baking zucchini bread and cookies and all kinds of stuff. She even finished painting the baby's room. And of course, it looks awesome.

Other than that, we're looking forward to Father's day coming up. We've got our gifts already and can't wait until next Sunday to celebrate with our Dads.

The weekend update with Sean & Becky

So we are going to try something new. We are going to try to put a new post up every weekend. We are not going to try to be witty or funny or anything we are just going to spit it up on the screen.

Becky just quit work this week and is loving her new life as being a homemaker. She is now 30 weeks along and doing great. We are both getting anxious to see our but little baby. So much so we went and bought a stroller and car seat. Whoa! It's one of those awesome ones with only one bike wheel in front, I think it is called a jogger stroller. We'll see if I actually end up jogging with it. We are getting his room put together, we are going to go buy the paint so look for that update soon.

Sean just started summer school at ASU taking a mechanical engineering class. He is loving it and wishing that all his classes were only seven weeks long. The professor actually specializes in windmill energy, and might help Sean get a spot doing research and help him gain experience in that field. In his spare time Sean has been tending to the garden. We are now eating fresh tomatoes, zucchini and carrots.

In other news our chickens are doing ok. We named them Lucy and Barbara. Lucy is the only one laying eggs right now but she seems to be taking days off here and there. Barb is the younger one and loves when we come outside to give her out table scrapes.

That's it for now, we will see you in a week....

Baby...Baby...Baby

So we are having a baby! Woo hoo!! We've been trying for two years for this to happen and it finally did. I still can't believe that I have something growing inside of me. I'm getting to the point where I feel a lot better and I can also start to feel it move a little. We still don't know if it's a boy or girl but we are hoping it's a boy. We find out on March 17th and it's taking forever to get here. Anyway....YAY for us:)

Our House

So good news everyone we bought a house! Yeah it's pretty crazy walking into it and knowing that you own this huge place. Well it's not huge but it sure does feel like it is compared to the apartments we've been living in. So I kind of feel more like an adult now. I will show you a picture of the front of it for now because we are fixing up the inside so I eventually want to do before and afters.

So there it is. The jeep isn't ours(I wish) this was taken before the house was offically ours.

As you can see though we have a nice palm tree in our front yard so if anyone wants it they are free to come get it:)

More pictures to come....

Months of fun in a few pictures...

Here I am again about six months after my last post updating what we've been up to. I promise I will be better at posting. So I'm just going to post pictures with a caption and hopefully that will suffice.

So to start it off we were able to go to a Keith Urban concert way back when and it was a blast. I just love concerts, the loud music, drunk stupid people, everyone dancing and singing, the ringing in your ears when you leave! It's the best.

Me by the tour bus

Us together in our seats

I don't remember who opened for him
but it was this chick and she was really good

I thought the screens were pretty cool

Hello cutie:)

I found these pictures too but I'm not sure when we went all I know is that it was cold and windy. We asked my dad if he wanted to go shooting with us and of course he said sure!

Sean taking aim...

Dad taking it very serious

Like I said it was cold and windy. And I have it tight
around my face to keep my hair out of my face. Don't judge!

The shotgun

Setting off the pigeon

I'll end with one last picture from our one year anniversary that we celebrated at The Melting Pot...I think we should make that a tradition to go there every year for our anniversary. We'll see what Sean has to say about that.

Until next time...

The Rundown

So we haven't posted anything in ages, so here's a rundown of the last few months. Sean started school at ASU and has been too busy with homework and whatnot. Becky has been killing scorpions and taking care of everything around the apartment.

We had a successful halloween. We made our own costumes and dressed up as Woody and Lil bo Peep from Toy Story. We are now the two time "Larson family best costume" champions! We enjoyed going to Ginger and Steven's and having amazing home made doughnuts, followed up by a scary movie over at Kevin and DaNelle's.

Next was Thanksgiving. We enjoyed two delicious meals at our respective families, and went to sleep around 7:00 pm. Why? Because we woke up at 3:00 the next morning to initiate our "Black Friday" experience. We scored a bunch of great Christmas gifts for ourselves and even squeezed in some orders for family members not willing to brave Mesa's finest that early in the morning. We've never seen so many people crammed inside of a Wal Mart. The BO and bad morning breath was almost overwhelming...

In the middle of all that, we've also moved....again. We looked around for a while and found a cool little complex in Gilbert and signed a holding reservation slip and made our first payment and prepared to move the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Everything seemed to be running smoothly until we were signing to get our keys and found out that they leased out our apartment to someone else. To make a long story short, because of their mistake and the riot our families almost started in trying to defend us, we our now living in a nice, 2 bedroom apartment for the price of a one bedroom apartment. Boo yah! Huge thanks to our family and friends for their strength and scare tactics in helping us with the move. We've almost got everything unpacked. One of the first things we did was set up our Christmas tree that we got for super cheap on Black Friday. We're so excited to spend our first Christmas together as a happily married couple! We're starting our own traditions and doing things our way.
Hope everyone has a Happy Christmas.
